Hosted by the Local Government Commission in partnership with the State of California, the California Adaptation forum (September 7-8) will take place in Long Beach, CA. This forum is a valuable opportunity to connect with a diverse audience of over 1,000 local, regional and state leaders currently working to address California’s adaptation needs. This year’s forum will feature a series of plenaries with high-level government, business and community leaders, breakout sessions on key adaptation topics, tours of regional adaptation projects in Southern California, and pre-forum workshops on tools and strategies for implementing adaptation solutions. The event features a diverse range of attendees within the fields of air quality, agriculture, conservation, energy, environmental justice, equitable development, forestry, coastal management, urban design, public health and transportation. Registration opens in June, so don’t miss this exciting opportunity to connect with some of the most innovative and forward-thinking leaders in the field of sustainability.
